Unleash your inner enchantress with the swish and swirl of a 25-yard skirt! This class dives into skirt work across various genres—teaching you how to wrap, flirt, twirl, and captivate with every flick of fabric. With over two decades of experience in Turkish, Egyptian, American Cabaret and fusion styles, Miasia will provide you with techniques appropriate for various audiences and genres of music (and gently guide you on what not to do!). Perfect for dancers of all levels, even if you’ve never touched a skirt before!

Ready to turn those fabulous skirt skills into a full-blown performance? In this playful, expressive session, you’ll learn bold combos which will blend joyful storytelling with your new skirt skills—creating a dance that’s as powerful as it is mesmerizing.

June 1 – 12:00pm | Turkish Cabaret: Bold, Sparkling & Unapologetic

Join Miasia—who studied Turkish style for over two decades with the legendary Artemis Mourat and performed with live bands in Turkey—for a workshop packed with flair and flavor. Turkish Cabaret is known for its fiery hipwork, vibrant energy, and magnetic audience interactions that truly light up the stage. Whether you're new to the style or ready to deepen your connection, this class is your invitation to dance with boldness, brilliance, and joy.

June 1 – 3:00pm | Turkish Romany: Earthy Rhythms & Cultural Richness

Rooted in tradition and full of vibrant expression, Turkish Romany (Gypsy) dance invites you into a world of grounded rhythms, gestural storytelling, and soulful footwork. We’ll honor the cultural essence while learning steps and combos that are playful, passionate, and deeply connected to the drum. Come with curiosity—no prior Romany experience needed!

June 8 – 12:00pm | Playful Props: Cane Dance: Sass, Swing & Precision

Get ready to swing, swirl, and strut with style! This upbeat workshop explores the joyful, flirtatious energy of cane dance (Raqs Assaya), blending traditional technique with playful flair. Whether you're twirling a cane for the first time or looking to sharpen your skills, this class brings the fun and the finesse.

June 8 – 3:00pm | Playful Props: Sword Dance: Strength, Stillness & Spellbinding Balance

Step into your sovereign power with the drama and poise of sword dance. Miasia will share her signature tchniques designed to create an intoxicating hint of danger for the audience- while keeping you fully grounded and safe in your movements. This class focuses on balancing, isolations, and slow, controlled movements that create tension and awe. No sword experience? No problem—we’ll cover safety, technique, and how to dance with strength and grace under pressure.

Channel your inner showgirl with the elegance of feather fan dance! Think old Hollywood meets divine feminine mystique. We’ll explore classic poses, flirty reveals, and graceful movements that celebrate beauty, softness, and strength. Perfect for anyone craving a luxurious, expressive movement experience.

Let yourself be wrapped in magic with the flowing art of veil dance. This class is all about creating air sculptures with fabric—twirling, sweeping, and floating through space with mesmerizing grace.
